The ABB IRB 6400 is one of the most installed robots in the world. It has been used by most of the major automotive manufacturers for 15 years. It has an excellent reputation for reliability and capability and as such are the industry standard. As standard the IRB 6400 has 120kg payload and 2.4m arm reach. It is a combination of IRB 6400 manipulator and the S4C robot controller enabling it with a variety of advanced communication capabilities including advanced software. It is also equipped with the Ethernet channels to provide easier service and factory networking and RAPID directives for sophisticated programming capabilities hence making the robot more powerful and easy to control for a wide range of functions.
